| Bailey, Rabine, Sullivan to face off Tuesday in Illinois Republican Primary Governor Debate Posted: 23 May 2022 04:56 PM PDT Illinois is at a crossroad ahead of the primary election on June 28. Inflation, a surge in crime, the Covid-19 pandemic and the possible end of Roe v. Wade are just some of the issues facing residents across the state. Tuesday, three Illinois Republicans hoping to unseat Governor JB Pritzker will face-off in a debate on WGN. These three candidates have met WGN's eligibility requirements. Candidate Richard Irvin was also invited to participate, but declined. The debate will air on WGN-TV in Chicago along with nine other Nexstar and mission stations across the state plus a partner station is Southern Illinois. However, David elaborated on how he doesn't like the term as it has implications of needing a vast amount of money in order to manage it. He gave his own definition and, later, he discussed how adults in their early 20's can better manage their wealth in order to save up for retirement. |

Our friend Ukulele Barb joins John Williams, Steve Bertrand and Bob Kessler in-studio to talk about her experience learning the ukulele as part of a 100 day challenge. Barb was gracious enough to join us each Monday for the last few months to tell us how everything was going in her quest to master the uke. And today, we get the payoff as Barb and ace harmonica player Bob Kessler play a wonderful rendition of the them from "Midnight Cowboy." Huzzah! |
