The Weeknd Ends LA Concert After Losing Voice, Apologizes to Fans

After playing a sold out show at SoFi Stadium on Friday, The Weeknd came on stage to a crowded stadium on Saturday to announce he had lost his voice and had to end the show. 

Fans packed SoFi Stadium for the second night in a row waiting to see the Canadian singer and songwriter during his After Hours Til Dawn tour. 

However, in the middle of the concert he came on stage to announce that he had to end the show.

Barbara Ehrenreich, Activist and 'Myth Busting' Writer of 'Nickel and Dimed,' Dies

Barbara Ehrenreich, the author, activist and self-described "myth buster" who in such notable works as "Nickel and Dimed" and "Bait and Switch" challenged conventional thinking about class, religion and the very idea of an American dream, has died at age 81.

Ehrenreich died Thursday morning in Alexandria, Virginia, according to her son, the author and journalist Ben Ehrenreich. She had recently suffered a stroke.

"She was, she made clear, ready to go," Ben Ehrenreich tweeted Friday. "She was never much for thoughts and prayers, but you can honor her memory by loving one another, and by fighting like hell."

Oscar-winning actor Jane Fonda announced Friday that she's been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma — but vowed that chemotherapy will not slow her political activism.

The 84-year-old Fonda said she's confident of overcoming this health crisis.

"So, my dear friends, I have something personal I want to share. I've been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and have started chemo treatments," she posted to Instagram.

Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears Accused of Grooming and Molesting Siblings in Sexually Explicit Skits, Lawsuit Says

A woman and her younger brother have accused comedians Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears in a new lawsuit of grooming them when they were children and coercing them into filming sexually explicit skits.

The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday by siblings identified only as Jane Doe, now 22, and John Doe, now 14. Jane, who is John's legal guardian, is the plaintiff in the lawsuit both individually and on her young brother's behalf.

The lawsuit alleges that Haddish and Spears coerced the siblings when they were children to take part in sexually explicit skits in separate incidents, which they say "stole the youth of a 7-year-old child and a 14-year-old child."
