In celebration of the centennial milestone, a spectacular new garden has been created with splendid vistas and gorgeously planted, color-filled spaces for enjoyment throughout the Arboretum's second century. The Grand Garden opens on Sunday, September 18 at 1:00 p.m. as a central new attraction. The Morton Arboretum podcast “Planted: Finding Your Roots in STEM Careers” begins its third season on September 13. Planted explores plant science careers in a fun and engaging way, with different tree-related professionals featured each week. It’s a great series for high school students, early professionals, and others interested in STEM. The first guest is Jazmin Albarran, executive director of Seed Your Future, who will discuss the many career opportunities for horticulture and plant science. |
