We are celebrating Rockford by showing FIRST MAN, a film about the Apollo 11 moon landing mission. The movie will start at dusk.

Come early to visit several local manufacturers who have made many amazing contributions in space exploration, including parts on the Apollo 11 spaceship.

Glow in the Garden

WHEN: September 16, 2022 (6:00pm - 9:00pm)

WHERE: Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens

Nicholas Conservatory invites you to an evening of family fun and activities to mark the end of summer. Purchase floating lanterns to personalize with your own message and release into the Eclipse Lagoon, run a unique, glowing 5K along the Rock River, and enjoy fun activities throughout the gardens. There will be a free 200-meter kids fun run at 7 pm with no registration required. Admission to the outdoor grounds is free.

Bret Michaels will be performing at Rivets Stadium as pat of his concert tour. Joining him will be a lineup featuring Tommy DeCarlo, singer of the band Boston, and 7th Heaven.
