I had the great pleasure of reading Akwaeke Emezi’s romance novel You Made a Fool of Death With Your Beauty on vacation last week, and I can’t wait to check out their other books. If you like your romance novels to have both heartbreaking substance and exquisite mess, this one’s for you!
In the spirit of summer vegetables, I can’t wait to make this fried eggplant with crispy basil and whipped honey feta.
